Here's another great use of a background I created using the alcohol ink technique.
I only used Teakwood and Shell Pink for this background, but when I did the first lift it was a little dark for my taste and I wondered how light it would be if I used the same background and lifted it twice. It was perfect!! I got just the right amount of lift for the colors I wanted. Of course, I tried to lift a third time and while it pulled some remaining ink off of the Yupo paper it was too light, but I've tried it with others since and some worked and some didn't.
Stamps Used- Pipin, Druids Inn,Eden, Fairy Barnacle
It's a little hard to see in the primary photo, but if you look closely you can see where I've illuminated some of the alcohol colors using 2 of the translucent Nuvo Drops colors and I've used a little glitter powder to highlight the moon/ sun halo.
