Dies R Us - Welcome Baby!

I needed a quick card for a shower and the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Oval Stackable Dies are perfect- they remind me of blanket stitching.

See below for details on how I built this card and don't forget to follow us at www.diesrus.com I was able to use 2 of the 4 dies for this A2 card and because they are stack-able- you get a perfect match. Normally, I would ink the edges once they are cut, but the stitching is so deep I didn't have to ink it up to see the detail.

  • A2 card base is 4.25" x 5.5" with a green mat layer of 4" x 5.25"

  • I used a double sided piece of scrapbook paper and using the largest oval cut out the center.

  • I turned it over and taped it right back down- coordinating paper is perfect for this technique.

  • I used a digital image for this card and used the second largest die to cut it out. TIP- Don't cut your dies 1st when using a digital image- LOL!

  • I added some pink pearls and ribbon for added flair.Stitched dies are popular right now- click on the image below and get yours today.
