Dies R Us (10/30)- Pine Time

It's never too early to start planning for Christmas Cards and while these are not your traditional Christmas colors- they are stunning and would also make great note cards or masculine birthday cards. Heck, you could use just about any pattern you wanted and make some that were more feminine too.

The Tall Pine Tree dies from Frantic Stamper was a great add for my collection of crafting dies! See below for instructions on how I made this card. and please be sure to follow our blog and sign up for emails- lots of special discounts are emailed regularly. Check us out here: https://www.diesrus.com/

  • I used a black card base, taupe mats and buffalo print paper.

  • I used black for my trees because I was layering them on top of the taupe to match the buffalo print. Originally I was going to cut them out of the taupe and let the print show through, but they got lost. The smaller of the dies has the trees connected which made it super easy to glue down.

  • Added a knotten piece of gray and white twine with black for some texture.

  • A few drops of black Nuvo drops and I think it really gave it some life! Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.
