This Spring is bittersweet for me. My youngest son will be graduating high school in about a month and then he will be off to start his adult life and my nest will be empty. While there were days, this day, couldn't come fast enough; now that it's here~ I'm a little sad. Love your littles- the time goes by quick.
Today's cards are from Unity Stamp Co, I used the bunny in the January 2017 Kit of the Month.
I'm still practicing my color shading, but I'm getting better. He was super easy though since he didn't need too much color. I just wanted to highlight his ear and body outline.
To make this A2 card I cut my card base to 4.25"x 5.5", my mat base to 5.25" x 4.25" and my stamp base to 4 1/8"x 5 5/8".
Using black ink I stamped the bunny images on a very smooth card stock made specifically for marker and color blending. Once these are stamped and colored, you will want to fussy cut them and add pop dots to add dimension to your card.
I just used some simple scrapbook paper as my card mats and using matching card stock I used an oval die and cut out "frames" for the bunnies.
These bunnies are perfect for Spring cards! I will be sending one to several people on my card list just to say Happy Spring!
