Yesterday was "Tea Day". If you don't drink tea, grab a cup of coffee and come play along at Crazy 4 Challenges.
Coffee! Because life is hard...
This week, I decided to make some cute tags with matching gift bags. I think these will be great to gift a gift card to someone's favorite coffee (or Tea) spot.
Tag size is 2.25" x 3.25"
Using Kraft paper, cut as many tags as you plan to use. (These would make cute bookmarks if they are cut longer.
I used the "Love to Go" coffee mug and sentiment set from Unity Stamp Co and Gorgeous Grunge from Stampin' Up.
Ink Colors: Espresso and Real Red from Stampin' Up.
I used maroon, taupe and white card stock to stamp off my coffee mugs and fussy cut each piece of the cup- the top, the heart and the cup sleeve and then glued them on in layers to give the cup dimension.
Using the ring and splat from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, I stamped off several of each image all over my tag. I also stamped the cup in real red directly on the tag for placement.
Once the tag was stamped, I added pop dots to the back of my mugs and placed them directly on the red stamped image on the tag.
I used flat kraft paper bags and stamped a red "to go" cup on the corner.
I used twine and small brass colored paper clips to add a little something.
I also added red Nuvo drops to the dots around the cup and brown Nuvo drops on the tags to give the coffee "stains" a wet look.
Coffee Fact: Coffee is most effective when drunk between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
