My granddaughter spent the weekend with us and wanted to "work" with me. Usually, "working" means I put everything away and color or finger paint. Yesterday, we stepped it up a notch and made card tags. I love the whimsy feel of these cute Fairies and will be giving these to my co-workers on Valentine's Day with a little pixie treat.
Using small pre-made tags we sponged off the edges using different Regal color inks from Stampin' UP
After each tag had it's special color, we used the Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust stamp and sentiment from Unity Stamp Company and stamped the center of the tag with Ranger Archival Ink in black which you can find in most craft stores, but be sure to check out their amazing website for lots of tips and ideas.
Next is when the real fun started! Using Stickles (glitter glue), another great Ranger product, we got to get sticky and gooey. We put a small dab of the glue on our fingertips and we dabbed away giving the Fairy's wings a glittery dusting of "Pixie Dust".
